Global Outreach is an important part of life at CPC.  We know that even the smallest act can have a large impact in showing Christ's love for each of us.  Even though we may each be one, as we join together we all God's truth to have a lasting influence in the lives of others throughout the world. 

Our Sister Church

God Is Love (Dios es Amor) Presbyterian Church in Pital, Atlantico, Colombia, in South America, is our sister church.  Pital is a rural community on the north coast of Colombia, near Barranquilla. We communicate with our sister church through letters, emails, and social media.  Over the years, members of CPC have visited our sister church, and we have hosted Colombian visitors here who have participated in the life of Covenant Springboro.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance

When a disaster happens (such as an earthquake, hurricane, or tornado), the Presbyterian Church has funds available that are sent immediately to the disaster area through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA).  PDA is the emergency and refugee program of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A., which focuses on the long-term recovery of disaster-impacted communities.  Covenant participates by making donations to PDA throughout the year in response to disasters.  Ways to give to PDA (Presbyterian Disaster Assistance), or to a specific Disaster Response provided by our denomination (PCUSA):

  1.  Click the link above. 

  2. On that home page, select from a short list of recent disaster priorities. Or use the search box on that page to help you find the cause you wish to donate to. 

  3. After selecting the disaster, click on “Learn More”. 

  4. On the new page, scroll down to the words “To Support…”. 

  5. Click on the DR# that follows “To Support…”. 

  6. Enter your credit card information.  You can also indicate that you are giving as a member or friend of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Springboro, Ohio.
