CPC welcomes the following programs into the church as an outreach to our Springboro Community:
SEPTEMBER PEACEFUL DREAMS BEDDING DRIVE
Peaceful Dreams Ministry is launching a Bedding & Bed Fundraising Drive during the month of September to help provide safe, comfortable places to sleep for individuals and families in our community who are facing difficult circumstances. A bed is more than a piece of furniture—it can provide comfort, dignity, security, and hope.

FAMILY PROMISE MEALS
CPC is proud to partner with Family Promise by going to their location to provide meals, fellowship, encouragement, and support to families experiencing homelessness. Family Promise provides families with a safe place to stay for an extended period while they work toward securing stable, permanent housing. Through our involvement, church members have the opportunity to prepare and serve meals, spend time with families, and offer a caring presence during what can be a very challenging season in their lives. We believe that serving through Family Promise allows us to put our faith into action by meeting practical needs, offering hope, and reminding families that they are valued, supported, and not alone.
CHRISTMAS ANGEL GIVING TREE
CPC is blessed to participate in the Christmas Angel Tree, helping bring joy and hope to children and families during the Christmas season. Through this ministry, we provide gifts for children who may otherwise go without presents during the holidays. Church members have the opportunity to select an angel, purchase the requested gifts, and help make Christmas a little brighter for a child in need. This ministry is a beautiful way for us to share the love of Christ by giving generously, meeting a practical need, and reminding every child that they are loved, valued, and remembered. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and help create a Christmas filled with joy, love, and treasured memories.
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH MISSIONS
One Great Hour of Sharing (Lenten Season)
Around the world, millions of people lack access to sustainable food sources, clean water, sanitation, education, and opportunity. The work done in support of the causes supported by One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) — disaster, hunger, poverty, climate change, and immigration/migration and refugees — serves individuals and communities in need. This work provides people with safety, sustenance, and hope. Typically received during the season of Lent, this Offering helps to improve the lives of people in these challenging situations.
World Communion Offering (mid-September through the first weekend of October)
All of God's people gather around the Table to celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Part of the atonement that happens around this Table is reconciliation, which is the focus of the World Communion Offering. Experience the grace that comes from reconciling all peoples from all nations around the corner and around the globe through the ministry of this offering.
Christmas Joy Offering (Advent Season)
The Christmas Joy Offering, collected by CPC on the last Sunday during Advent, has been a cherished Presbyterian tradition since the 1930s. The offering distributes gifts equally between the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and Presbyterian-related schools and colleges that equip communities of color. The Assistance Program provides critical financial support to church workers and their families. Presbyterian-related schools and colleges provide education and leadership development while nurturing racial and ethnic heritage.
Community Blood Center
For over ten years, we have helped to save lives throughout the Miami Valley by opening our doors to Community Blood Center for blood drives approximately every 8 weeks. Each unit of blood can save up to three lives!!

Clothes that Work
Assists individuals moving from public assistance to job employment by outfitting them for interviews and appropriate work attire. The service provides a much-needed resource for the next step toward a career. We collect business-appropriate attire for men and women and deliver them to Clothes That Work to outfit individuals in the job assistance program.
Food Pantries
We support two food pantries: Springboro Community Assistance Center and Franklin Area Community Services. Food drives are held throughout the year, as well as giving them monetary donations. At Thanksgiving and Easter, we help many families with dinner and enough groceries for a week. For information about these community centers, go to www.facswarren.org.
EASTER and THANKSGIVING BAGS
CPC helps families in need by providing Easter and Thanksgiving Bags filled with essential food items for a holiday meal. These bags allow us to provide practical support to individuals and families facing financial challenges while helping them celebrate these special occasions with dignity and joy. Through the generosity of our congregation, we are able to collect, prepare, and distribute the bags to those in our community who need a helping hand. This ministry is an opportunity to share the love of Christ through acts of kindness, compassion, and generosity, reminding families that they are cared for and supported by their church and community.
