Youth Ministries

Sunday Morning

The mission of Children’s Church is to help youth know God through studying God's Word and to take that knowledge and apply it to their daily life.

Younger children are taught about God through multimedia, bible stories with crafts, or other age-appropriate activities to help reinforce the lessons.

Older children are taught biblical principles using scripture readings along with age-appropriate games, multimedia, crafts, and music to reinforce the principle and relate it to their lives.

Children’s church classes are offered to children 3 years old through 6th grade during the Sunday morning 10AM worship hour.

Youth Group

Several times a month, our Youth (grades 6th-12th) meet for Youth Group. Youth Group sessions include Prayer and Praise, Bible Study, games, and time to connect with peers on a social level.  Throughout the year our Youth find opportunities to build their relationships within the church by participating in events like the Lock-In, Mission trips, and community outreach in locations such as Ronald McDonald House, etc.

Confirmation

Starting in 8th-9th grade, our Youth are invited to begin their journey through Confirmation in the Presbyterian Church.  This is a special time in a Youth's life where, after their 6 month time of study and classes, they will take own-ness of their faith and decide what their role in the church will be.  Each Confirmation student has a mentor walk beside them through their journey to guide, encourage and support them as they process questions and problems they may have never thought about regarding faith and the role that it plays in their life.  The classes culminate in being Confirmed and brought into the Church as members.

Cub Scouts

We are the Charter organization for Cub Scout Pack 813, hosting weekly Den and monthly Pack meetings along with other activities.  We welcome Pack 813 members to all of our activities.
